Pregnancy & Birth Doula Care

Doulas, a Greek word which means to ‘serve women’ continue to assist and enhance expectant mothers in pregnancy, labor and the immediate post partum time.

An expectant mother receives medical care and medical management from a health care provider in pregnancy, labor and birth.  A doula works along side a medical care provider to compliment the woman’s pregnancy through  theraputic touch, relaxation practices and stress reduction tools.  Doulas continue to make a difference in maternity care.  More families have read articles about doulas, seen doulas featured on television shows and want to experience the compassionate care a doula can add to a pregnancy.

Jill's healing arts have served expectant families in doula care.  Call today to meet for tea and discuss how doula care can enhance your pregnancy for both expectant mom and dad!
